About This Event
UTEP Speed Development Fall Camp
Take your speed, movement, and overall athletic performance to the next level at the UTEP Speed Development Fall Camp. This three-hour training experience is open to athletes from all sports and is designed to help participants move faster, more efficiently, and with greater confidence.
Campers will receive hands-on instruction from the UTEP Track & Field coaching staff and current student-athletes in a positive, competitive, and high-energy environment. Training will focus on acceleration, sprint mechanics, maximum-velocity development, agility, coordination, explosive movement, and body control. Each skill is designed to transfer directly to performance on the track, field, or court.
Camp Divisions
Ages 5–7: Mini Miners
This group will focus on fun, coordination, balance, basic running form, and simple movement skills in an age-appropriate environment.
Ages 8–12: Youth Speed Development
This group will focus on acceleration, body control, agility, sprint mechanics, and age-appropriate competition.
Ages 13–18: Advanced Speed Development
This group will focus on technical sprint mechanics, maximum velocity, acceleration, explosive power, and sport-specific application.

Camp Highlights
High-level instruction tailored to each camper’s age, ability, and development needs.
Intentional coaching, technical corrections, and individualized feedback throughout each training segment.
Speed, acceleration, agility, coordination, movement mechanics, and explosive performance development.
Instruction from UTEP Track & Field coaches and current student-athletes.
Official camp T-shirt included with registration.
Athletes should arrive dressed in appropriate athletic clothing and training shoes and bring a water bottle. Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged.
This sports camp is open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender.
